Accomplishments

• Cross Creek Charter Academy won a coveted “Golden Apple” award in 1999 for high performance increases on the state MEAP test. In continuing with this great academic focus, Cross Creek has achieved its “Adequate Yearly Progress” (AYP) grade for the 06-07 school year, and received a grade of “A” for the elementary program, and a grade of “A” for the middle school program.
• Cross Creek Charter Academy outperformed the national average for the NWEA test on yearly growth for the 2008-09 school year. 
• Cross Creek students performed better than the state average on all 27 tests on the Fall 2008 MEAP test. Cross Creek students grew 145% compared with the national average of 100%.
• Cross Creek Charter Academy established a college scholarship fund in 2005 for former students who exhibit exemplary academic and moral focus in high school. The winning student receives a $1000 scholarship money for the college of their choice.
• Cross Creek was the runner up for Charter School of the Year, in Michigan, in 2005.
• In 2008 the Parent Satisfaction Survey results showed an increase in all areas of satisfaction: 97% of the parents who responded the survey said they were satisfied with Cross Creek; 89% of the parents who responded would recommend Cross Creek to others; 97% of the parents who responded felt parental involvement is a top priority.
• Employee Satisfaction Results in 2008 stated that 100% of Cross Creek's employees felt our parents support their children's education.
